An attacking player who is a “pleasure to watch” has apparently received an offer from Leicester City, and it appears that the player’s present team will respond to the Foxes.

News about Leicester transfers
In the last days of the summer transfer window, the Foxes are still rumored to be in talks to add new players, giving Steve Cooper the opportunity to assemble a team that can guarantee Premier League survival this year.
One such player who has surfaced as a potential Leicester target is Reiss Nelson. At tottenham hotspur the 24-year-old isn’t considered a significant player; instead, players like Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Bukayo Saka are ranked ahead of him. He might be seen as Wilfried Zaha’s backup, because there have been rumors of Zaha moving to the King Power Stadium.

According to a recent update, the Foxes are in the lead to recruit the former Crystal Palace winger, who is currently at Galatasaray but seems to be pushing for a late summer departure from the Turkish powerhouse.

Prior to the deadline, Cooper may also try to bolster their attacking midfield, and it appears that they have made progress in signing a single player.

Leicester City makes a 20-year-old a table offer.
Journalist Bob Faesen on X claims that Leicester has made an offer to Genk for Bilal El Khannouss, though it is expected that the €15–20 million (£12.7–£17 million) deal will be turned down after more discussions:

tottenham hotspur has placed its first bid for El Khannouss, according to an update. It was too little for RC Genk because it was only between 15 and 20 million euros. Club-level negotiations have now commenced.”

For Foxes fans, who will undoubtedly be hoping to see more fresh faces show up at the King Power in the days ahead, this is a positive update.El Khannouss is a young player with potential who would be a long-term addition; the fact that Manchester City has been linked to a move for him in the past speaks volumes about his ability. In 2022, Dimitri De Conde, the technical director of Genk, also praised the young attacking midfielder, saying, “Bilal is a pleasure to watch and during my eight years at the club, I have rarely seen such a talent at KRC Genk.”The Genk star has 14 assists in 94 games for his current team, demonstrating his ability to contribute genuine creative flair from his offensive midfield position. Despite his youth, he has already earned 14 caps for Morocco, and he made one appearance at the 2022 World Cup when barely 18 years old.

While it’s true that El Khannouss may need some time to get used to the speed and intensity of the Premier League, he might be a valuable addition to the club in the long run and develop into a significant player.
