SKY CONFIRM: Bradford City Strike Agreement with AFC Wimbledon for Marcus Browne

Sky Sports has confirmed that Bradford City have reached an agreement with AFC Wimbledon for the transfer of attacking midfielder Marcus Alexander Browne. The 26-year-old, known for his creativity and ability to unlock defences, is set to undergo a medical in the coming days, with personal terms already close to being finalised.

Browne, formerly of Oxford United and Middlesbrough, enjoyed a solid campaign with AFC Wimbledon last season, contributing key goals and assists in League Two. His move to Valley Parade is seen as a major coup for Bradford City, who are aiming for promotion after another mid-table finish.

Sources close to the club indicate that Browne is eager for the new challenge and is excited about working under the Bantams’ current project. If completed as expected, the deal will add proven league experience and flair to Bradford’s attacking options ahead of the 2025–26 season.
