SKY CONFIRM: The Match between “Forest Green Rovers VS Southend United” has been Rescheduled Due to Adverse Weather Conditions
Sky Sports can confirm that the upcoming fixture between Forest Green Rovers and Southend United has been officially rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions affecting the pitch at The New Lawn. The match, originally set to take place this weekend, has been postponed following a pitch inspection that deemed the surface unplayable after heavy rainfall throughout the week.
Both clubs, in conjunction with the match officials and the English Football League, agreed that player safety and the integrity of the match could not be guaranteed under the current circumstances. A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course once it has been agreed upon by both sides and approved by league organizers.

Supporters who purchased tickets for the original fixture will be able to use them for the rearranged match. Alternatively, fans can request a full refund through their respective club’s ticket office. Forest Green and Southend both expressed disappointment but thanked fans for their understanding and continued support.
