Sky Confirm: Crystal Palace Agree £20.6m Deal With Bournemouth for Antoine Semenyo

Crystal Palace have reportedly agreed a deal worth £20.6 million with Bournemouth for the signing of highly-rated forward Semenyo, according to Sky Sports sources. The 22-year-old Nigerian attacker is set to undergo a medical in the coming days before finalising personal terms with the South London club.

Antoine Semenyo has been one of Bournemouth’s standout performers over the past season, drawing attention for his pace, flair, and clinical finishing. Palace, under Oliver Glasner, are looking to bolster their attacking options as they prepare for the upcoming Premier League campaign, and see Semenyo as a dynamic addition who can thrive in a counter-attacking system.

The deal, which includes performance-related add-ons, will make Antoine Semenyo one of the most expensive signings in Palace’s history. The forward is expected to compete directly with the likes of, Eberechi Eze, and Jean-Philippe Mateta for a place in the starting lineup.

Bournemouth are understood to be open to the sale in order to reinvest in multiple areas of the squad this summer. Samonyo’s departure marks a significant change in their attacking approach, as they now target reinforcements ahead of pre-season.

More details are expected once the medical is complete.
