West Bromwich Albion is reportedly eyeing a £15 million deal with Leeds United to acquire striker Patrick Bamford.

According to Sky Sports, the Championship side is keen to bolster their attacking options as they aim for promotion to the Premier League. Bamford, who has had an up-and-down spell at Leeds, could be allowed to leave the club after a challenging season in the Premier League.

Bamford’s ability to score goals at Championship level is well known, having been instrumental in Leeds’ promotion campaign in 2019-20. However, injuries and inconsistent form have seen him struggle to make the same impact in the top flight. A move to West Brom would give the 30-year-old striker a fresh start in a familiar league where he has thrived before.

West Brom are looking to add a reliable goal scorer after failing to achieve promotion last season, and Bamford’s proven track record in the second tier makes him a valuable target. Leeds, on the other hand, might be ready to cash in as they look to reshape their squad following relegation from the Premier League.
