AC Milan is reportedly linked with a £93 million agreement for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško, according to Sky sources.
The Rossoneri, who are actively looking to bolster their attacking options, have turned their attention to the 21-year-old Slovenian forward. Šeško is considered one of the brightest young talents in European football, and Milan’s interest signals their intention to add youthful vigor and potential to their squad.
Šeško joined RB Leipzig from sister club Red Bull Salzburg in 2023, where he had already made a name for himself as a prolific goal scorer.
At Leipzig, he continued to showcase his athleticism, powerful aerial presence, and ability to operate in tight spaces, which has attracted attention from several European clubs. While he has only been at Leipzig for a short period, AC Milan is keen to strike a deal to bring him to San Siro in a bid to reinforce their attacking line-up, particularly following the departure of key players like Zlatan Ibrahimović and the inconsistent form of other forwards.
The reported £93 million price tag could prove to be a bargain for a player of Šeško’s potential, though negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing. AC Milan has shown ambition in this summer’s transfer window, having already completed several notable signings. Bringing in a player like Šeško would fit their strategy of combining experienced players with younger talents capable of developing under coach Stefano Pioli’s guidance.
If the deal goes through, Šeško could provide Milan with a much-needed option up front, as they look to challenge for domestic success in Serie A and make a deep run in European competitions.
