Dominic Solanke’s injury is confirmed by Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou ahead of the team’s

Saturday visit to Everton in north London. However, Ange Postecoglou will be missing Dominic Solanke.Due to an ankle knock sustained during Monday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City, Ange Postecoglou confirmed on Friday that Dominic Solanke, an Englishman, will not be available for Saturday’s Premier League match against Everton. The 26-year-old, who only recently joined Spurs from Bournemouth in a deal worth up to £65 million, was not pictured in training earlier in the week, which caused concern among the fan base. The manager of Tottenham said to reporters: “Dom took a knock in the previous game. He managed to win the game, but the next day it became more intense. He will miss tomorrow.

He told football.london: “It’s an ankle injury mate, he copped it fairly early on, someone went across his ankle. Tomorrow, he’s absolutely out. It simply depends on how well he recovers [when he returns]. The international break is coming up next week, so it’s not a big deal. That’s known, but it’s only an ankle injury.”Though Solanke played the whole Monday night match against Leicester, it now appears that Richarlison will take his position in the starting lineup. The Brazilian came on in the closing minutes of Tottenham’s match against Leicester after starting the match on the bench.

“Richy spent the last two weeks training. He’s prepared to leave. When asked about Richarlison by football.london, Postecoglou responded, “Obviously hasn’t played for quite a while which you’ve got to [take into account], but he’s available and ready to go.”

In other team news, Yves Bissouma will also be joining the team again, while Pedro Porro is alright despite hobbling off against the Foxes. Wilson Odobert will be up for selection as well.

Rodrigo Bentancur will be absent due to concussion protocol, but he would have been out anyhow following such a head trauma.

“Certainly not. “We will always be more cautious with any head injury, regardless of concussion protocols,” he stated. The good news is that he has recovered rather nicely. After completing every exam, he is in good health. Before putting Rodrigo back out there, we will take our time and make sure he is fully recovered.”
