Leeds United has reached an agreement to take 21-year-old winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on a loan after the
player decided to join Sheffield United on loan. Despite leading the race, The Blades, according to rumors, the player has not yet made a decision regarding his future.
With Crysencio Summerville leaving for West Ham United, the Whites have a strong interest in the winger. After an outstanding season, the Dutch winger was named Championship Player of the Season, making him the top player in the league. The previous season, United was unable to get immediate promotion. The team participated in the promotion playoffs after placing third in the Championship with the goal of returning to the Premier League.
Sadly, they were defeated 0-1 by Southampton in the championship game. Many players left, either permanently or on loan, as a result of this promotion failure.
Crysencio Summerville was a player among these people. Last season, he assisted on ten goals and scored 21 goals, totaling 31 goals. In order to have a chance at promotion this season, Daniel Farke will seek to replace the Dutchman with a player who can duplicate his accomplishments.
Jonathan Rowe of Norwich City is one among the options Leeds is considering. The Whites had made an offer of £7 million, but The Canaries thought the amount was too low and refused it.
Terms for Jesurun’s summer loan signing have been agreed upon by three clubs. Sheffield United led the way, followed by Leeds United and Hull City.
Sky Sports claims that Hull and The Whites have also accepted the terms. A recall clause in January, complete salary coverage, and a seven-figure loan fee are all included in the agreement. This time, the West Yorkshire company moved quickly to agree to terms in the event that the Jonathan Rowe sale falls through. In the deal, Sheffield United is still the front-runner, although Rak-Sakyi hasn’t decided yet.
The English winger is reportedly considering making a choice today since he wants to play in the season’s first game. There are less than twenty-four hours left before Leeds takes on Portsmouth.Rak-Sakyi’s season at Elland Road will be extremely hectic for The Whites if he chooses to stay there. If they wish to have the player on the team sheets, they will need to register him well in advance of the game.
If Rak-Sakyi decides to go that path, it will be intriguing to see if he is included in the Starting XI against Portsmouth.
