What Ange Postecoglou has said about Ivan Toney
Tottenham are keen on the £40m striker, and this is a move that would surely please Ange Postecoglou.
Indeed, Postecoglou was full of praise for Toney earlier this year.
“Yeah look I think he’s a fantastic player and you can see just how important he is to that Brentford team. He changes it almost overnight,” Postecoglou previously
said.
They’ve obviously been going through a rough trot in terms of results in recent times, and they’ve obviously had their fair share of injuries. But as soon as he comes into that team he gives them a different look, both as a player but also the presence he had.”
It’s clear that Postecoglou is a big fan of Toney, and he may soon get the chance to work with the England international at Tottenham.
