Nottingham forest second bid for Max Kilman rejected

Nottingham forest made a second bid for Wolves defender Max Kilman, but it was rejected. 

According to Jack Rosser of The Sun (22 June), the Forest offered a lucrative £30 million deal with add-ons, spread over six years to sign Kilman, but Wolves have rejected the offer this morning.

Nottingham forest now preparing to make another offer, but they are not willing to pay more than £35 million to sign the 27-year-old defender.

Forest submitted an opening bid of around £25 million for Kilman, but Wolves are holding out for a fee of around £45 million. It means Nottingham forest will not meet their asking price, and their final offer will be at least £10 million short of the player’s valuation.

Nottingham forest have already signed Brazilian forward Luis Guilherme, and Julen Lopetegui is now focussing on bolstering the defence.

Max Kilman bid rejected by Wolves

According to a report from The Times (June 21), Wolves are in no rush to sell their skipper who still has four years remaining on his current deal.

Nottingham forest are keen to sign at least three defenders before the start of the pre-season and have earmarked Kilman as one of their top priority signings. Lopetegui has worked with him before at Wolves, and he is keen to get his signature.

Forest showed interest in signing Brazilian defender Fabricio Bruno, but they failed to strike a deal after the defender had a change of heart.
