West Ham table offer to sign attacking target – Transfer talks to continue

Fotomac today claim that West Ham United have tabled an offer to sign Nottingham forest forward Elanga.

The Ivory Coast international only joined Nottingham forest last summer and despite winning the fa cup with the club there have been recent reports he could return to England.

According to the Turkish media outlet, West Ham have offered forest €7m for the former Crystal Palace player as they look to strengthen their attack.

However, the Hammers initial bid has been reportedly rejected by the forest side, but an improved offer of €10m could get a deal done between both clubs. It’s now expected talks with continue, with Nottingham forest keen to get Zaha off their wage bill.

Elanga reportedly earns €4.3m a season after joining Cimbom on a free transfer nearly a year ago, and they want to free this up in order to bring in new players.

There’s been recent reports that Elanga wants to remain in Istanbul despite being snubbed in the final games of last season, but it seems his club have other ideas.

The 31-year-old made 42 appearances for Nottingham forest in the last campaign, scoring 10 goals.

He’s contracted to forest until June 2026.

The outlet writes that West Ham, Marseille and AS Roma are some of the clubs who’d like to sign Banza this summer. He’s currently protected with a contract running until 2027, which includes a €40m release clause. Still, O Jogo claims that he could leave for just €20m.

The striker had a very good season for Braga, with 23 goals and five assists in 41 appearances, even though he was away with his national team during the African Cup of Nations.

Now since recent reports said Banza could reject a European transfer to move to the Middle East, it seems West Ham and others should be prepared to offer him very good personal terms.
