Three players agree new deals as King’s Lynn announces retained list for 2024/25 season

King’s Lynn Town remain in talks with midfielder Cameron Hargreaves after announcing their retained list.

Hargreaves, 25, is one of four players to have been offered a new deal by the club, with goalkeeper Paul Jones and defenders Josh Coulson and Kyle Callan-McFadden already accepting new terms at the Walks.

The trio of Jordan Ponticelli, Gabriel Rogers and Ismael Fatadjo have all left the club after not being offered contracts while loan players Greg Taylor, George Morrison and Owen Devonport have all returned to their parent clubs.

Linnets skipper Coulson, 35, said: “I’m really happy to have signed an extension. Excited to see what next season has in store.

Since the gaffer (Adam Lakeland) and Walks (Sam Walker) have come in they have been amazing with me, bringing me onto the staff side of things and I’ve enjoyed it.

“I’m sure you all can see what they are trying to do and I really want to be part of that. I also have a massive soft spot for this football club and I want to give all I have for it.”

Goalkeeper Jones, who had an outstanding campaign between the posts, said: “I am delighted to have signed a contract for the upcoming season. It’s an honour to

continue my journey with a club that has shown tremendous faith in my abilities.”I am committed to contributing my best on the pitch and would like to thank the chairman and management team for their belief in me.”I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and am eager to make next season one of the most memorable ones.”

McFadden, 29, added: “I am delighted to have signed a new deal. Can’t wait to get a full season under the gaffer and Walks. Time to put last season’s nightmare to bed and get ready to properly compete next season.”
