Nottingham Forest vs. Chelsea, Premier League: Preview, team news, how to watch
Welcome to the last eight days of the 2023-24 Premier League season. Chelsea play three times in this final week and change, starting with Nottingham Forest away, followed by Brighton & Hove Albion away on Wednesday and then Bournemouth at home on the final day next Sunday.
If we win all three, we will finish at least seventh, perhaps even sixth if Newcastle United drop points at the same time.
If Manchester City win the FA Cup, sixth will get Europa League and seventh will get Europa Conference. Otherwise (i.e. if Manchester United win the FA Cup), sixth gets the Conference and seventh goes home with nothing.
At the other end of the table, Forest still have something to play for, too. In fact, they are still not assured of staying in the league: with two games left, they are only three points clear of the relegation zone. Below them, Luton Town will be hoping for a miracle.
But our focus should be only on ourselves, and keeping our current form going right to the end of the campaign.
