Joao Pedro’s comeback from injury is unknown, therefore he will miss Brighton’s Premier League matchup against Sheffield United this weekend.

The Brazilian striker was questionable for sunday Sheffield United derby against Sheffield United due to injury, but he played nearly the entire match and scored in the 4-1 triumph.

Pedro, however, will not be able to make the sunday afternoon trip to north London due to a hamstring issue.

After receiving oral surgery, Seagulls manager Roberto De Zerbi was unable to attend Friday’s press conference. Assistant manager Andrea Maldera filled in to break the awful news.Pedro has scored 19 goals this season across all competitions, with eight of those goals coming in the Premier League. Maldera stated, “Unfortunately, he has a hamstring injury. He did a scan two days ago, had another one this week. He has a problem, we don’t know how many weeks. We don’t want to take a risk.”On Saturday, however, Kaoru Mitoma will play after returning from the Asia Cup with Japan, who lost to Iran last weekend and went out in the quarterfinals.

The winger’s status in Brighton’s starting lineup and substitution list are still up in the air.

“He’s been around a lot,” Maldera remarked. “We’ll decide early tomorrow morning.”

Son Heung-min, the captain of Tottenham, is another one of their returning talents from the Asia Cup.

Following a midweek loss to Jordan in the semifinals, South Korea was eliminated from the competition. Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Sheffield United, is hoping that Son and Yves Bissouma, who returned to the team following Mali’s loss from the Africa Cup of Nations, would both contribute.

‘It goes without saying that Biss had a slightly longer journey, but Sonny participated in a very difficult competition that had numerous overtime periods and late finishes.’ stated Postecoglou.

However, they both trained today and are cheerful.

He continued, saying, “Sonny did recovery on Thursday and trained today,” at his press conference that followed. Lo Celso trained, Biss trained. Solomon and Sessegnon are the only ones who are still alive. Sonny and Biss had excellent training.
