FLW brings you the latest information for the Championship clash at The Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion will be aiming to inflict back-to-back defeats on promotion rivals Southampton when the pair meet on Friday evening at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies secured a fifth straight home league win in midweek to strengthen their grip on the play-off places, with goals from Mikey Johnston and Andi Weimann ensuring a 2-0 victory over Cardiff City

Albion also recorded their 14th clean sheet in the second-tier this term, which is only matched by Leeds United.

Meanwhile, Southampton’s 25-match unbeaten run came to an end at Ashton Gate on Tuesday, with the Saints falling to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bristol City, as strikes from Sam Bell, Rob Dickie and Harry Cornick derailed the forward momentum generated by the South Coast outfit.

Russell Martin’s outfit will have a chance to make amends on the road when they travel to the Black Country and will leap back into the automatic promotion places if they can earn three points.

However, that will be no easy feat, with West Brom conceding just once on home soil from their last five home league outings.

Here at Football League World, we bring you the latest information surrounding the clash in B71.
