A look at the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Friday, October 13.

Fotbollskanalen claims Leeds United are among a number of European clubs keen on signing 19-year-old super star Noel Törnqvist. The report says the Whites and FC Copenhagen watched his Mjällby AIF side in their 1-0 defeat to AIK Solna last weekend.

The Mjällby AIF sporting director Hasse Larsson, has since confirmed they were in attendance, but says none of the interested parties have made an approach to sign him. Törnqvist is currently contracted until the summer of 2026.

“We’ll see what happens, we haven’t received anything concrete. We have only received requests.

“I think we have a contract for four more years. It is difficult to answer [of retaining him beyond January], but we are happy to keep him for a while longer. Then we’ll see, it depends on what comes.

“It’s fairly broad. There were four clubs that looked at him and there have been clubs that looked at him before.”

Former Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur defender Alan Hutton believes Leeds United could lose a number of players to the Premier League if they continue to perform well, with Willy Gnonto among them.

“It is very difficult for a player who is in the Championship to turn down an offer from a Premier League team,” he told Football Insider.

“The likes of Gnonto who are stand out players, if they are playing well for their club then there is always going to be people looking. It is very difficult to turn down that Premier League offer.“
