SKY CONFIRM: Rotherham United Agree Deal with Leeds United for Harry Gray

Sky Sports understands that Rotherham United have reached an agreement with Leeds United over the transfer of highly rated forward Harry Gray, in what is being viewed as a significant move for the Championship side.

Sources close to the negotiations indicate that the deal was concluded late on Tuesday evening, with Leeds sanctioning the move to allow the 15-year-old to continue his development through regular senior football exposure. The agreement is believed to include performance-related clauses and future incentives, underlining Leeds United’s long-term belief in the youngster’s potential.

Gray, who has been making waves in Leeds’ academy setup, is regarded as one of the most exciting young prospects in the club’s youth ranks. His technical ability, movement, and eye for goal have drawn attention across the Football League, with Rotherham moving quickly to secure his signature amid growing interest.

From Rotherham’s perspective, the deal represents a statement of intent. The Millers are understood to see Gray as a long-term project rather than an immediate first-team starter, with plans to carefully integrate him into their senior environment.

Leeds United, meanwhile, retain confidence that the structure of the agreement protects their interests while giving Gray the best possible platform to progress.

Formal confirmation from both clubs is expected in due course, pending registration and league approval.
