Celtic are reportedly in serious negotiations with Crystal Palace for Eberechi Eze. The 26-year-old midfielder has been on the radar of several Premier League clubs after his impressive performances last season, where he scored 11 league goals.
Although Eze was expected to attract significant interest from big clubs during the summer transfer window, Crystal Palace managed to retain him.
However, Eze is now considering a move, and Crystal Palace may be forced to negotiate his exit if he expresses a desire to leave. His current contract includes a release clause of £68 million, but a cut-price deal might be on the table if he pushes for a transfer. Celtic’s interest follows that of other top clubs, including Liverpool and Tottenham, both of whom were keen on signing him during the summer.
