Sheffield Wednesday vs Leeds United TV channel, live stream and how to watch Yorkshire derby

Leeds United travel to Hillsborough on Friday night searching for their first victory of the season as pressure mounts on Daniel Farke

Leeds United’s start to the season has been underwhelming to say the least with two draws in the Championship and heavy defeat at home to Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup.

Daniel Farke’s side are in a period of transition having lost a bunch of key players from last season including; Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville, Luis Sinisterra and most recently Georginio Rutter. However, the expectation for the Whites is for them to be competing for promotion this season and the longer the winless run goes on, the more questions will be asked of the manager.

Things do not get any easier in the second tier for Leeds as they travel to local rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night. The hosts are reeling from a heavy defeat to Sunderland last weekend but their form at Hillsborough has been impressive having not lost at home since March.

With a big crowd under the lights expected in the Steel City, the weekend opener is not one to be missed. Leeds Live has taken a look at how you can follow all of the action.

How can I watch the match?

Those unfortunate enough not to be in the away end for the game will be able to watch the match in the UK live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football. The fixture shall also be available to stream via the Sky Sports app or NowTV.
