Leicester City has placed a bid for Panathinaikos attacker Fotis Ioannidis, according to HITC sources.

The Foxes are hoping to sign the 24-year-old center-forward because they need a new center-forward.

It’s believed that Leicester City has made the Greece international a bid in the neighborhood of £23 million.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, a midfielder, was sold by the Foxes to Chelsea for £30 million to kick off their summer.

The thirty million pounds was reinvested in three transactions involving Michael Golding, Caleb Okoli, and Issahaku Fatawu.

Leicester is still severely lacking in strikers, though, as Kelechi Iheanacho left on a free transfer to go with Sevilla in Spain.

While Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka remain with the team, new manager Steve Cooper is keen to bring in Fotis Ioannidis to give his team more firepower.

Star striker Ioannidis, who was also observed by West Ham and Ipswich Town, has garnered a lot of attention throughout Europe following his 23 goals in all competitions for Panathinaikos in the previous campaign.

HITC is aware that Kieran McKenna’s team was keen to add a striker to their lineup and that Ipswich Town had previously discussed a trade for the Greek star this summer.

This summer, Brentford and West Ham also kept an eye on the 24-year-old, but they decided not to pursue their interest further. Now, Leicester wants to get ahead of their competitors and sign the gifted forward.

The transfer window will close in three weeks, and Leicester’s Premier League campaign will kick off with a visit from Tottenham Hotspur in only one week.

According to HITC, Manchester City and the Citizens are in the final stages of negotiations to sign a new player this summer.

The Premier League winners Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, have made just one addition during the summer transfer window.Although the Premier League winners have added just one player thus far in their quest for five straight league titles—winger Savinho from Girona—they completed their signing early this summer.

Pep Guardiola’s team was interested in Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes, but insiders have told HITC that the Magpies are not worried about losing the Brazilian. City is eager to recruit a midfield player this summer.Divin Mubama is almost signed by City, according to sources who spoke with HITC. The 19-year-old, who HITC understands had held talks with several Championship clubs, including Sunderland, has now agreed terms with City over a move to the Premier League champions. A move to the Etihad Stadium is almost certain.Although Mubama was a highly anticipated player at West Ham United, he left the London Stadium this summer without being able to secure a new contract.

Under new manager Julen Lopetegui, West Ham has been busy with transfers this summer, but it looks like the Hammers will lose the talented youth to the Premier League winners.

Due to an injury that will keep the Norwegian player out of action for three months, City may gain depth with the addition of Mubama.

West Ham is expected to be compensated for Muhammad
The teenager increases City’s offensive options and will now be paid by West Ham, initially for their Under-23 team.

Mubama has been a deadly force for the Hammers in the youth ranks. He earned his debut for the squad in a 3-0 Europa Conference League victory over FCSB.

Mubama made 19 appearances for the Hammers, scoring four goals for the squad while playing for the youth and first teams. However, the Englishman is now moving to the Etihad Stadium. The future of one player creates another fascinating storyline ahead of Aston Villa’s Premier League opener against West Ham United on Saturday night.

Even though Borussia Dortmund paid £27 million for Germany’s first-choice number nine, Niclas Fullkrug, Julen Lopetegui’s team is still looking to add a younger, more committed striker to their roster.

HITC is aware that Jhon Duran of Aston Villa is still a candidate to move to the London Stadium.

A few weeks ago, West Ham made a bid of about £35 million. Remaining true to their £40 million valuation, Aston Villa is not giving up. However, if both sides are willing, there must be a way to make a deal that just requires the two clubs to be £5 million apart.

Meanwhile, Villa manager Unai Emery has hinted that Duran, a previous Chelsea target, might play against his prospective employers when West Ham hosts the Midland giants in a match that is all claret and blue.

Jhon Duran of Aston Villa is similar to West Ham.
He is working out with us and doing a great job. He returned last week in a positive mood, and I plan to make advantage of him,” Emery told the Birmingham Mail. “I think he has promise. He was a crucial player for us last year and assisted us at certain points.

“What matters most is that he is with us, wearing our shirt, and that he is available and prepared.

“He is a young man with a lot of untapped promise. It’s not easy to be vying with Ollie Watkins for a single slot here, given how successful Watkins’ career has been.
