Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers thinks they got a “great deal” for Adam Idah from Brighton and has backed

the player to start right away at Celtic Park. Idah spent the second half of last season on loan with the Hoops and scored nine goals, including the winner in the Scottish Cup. Celtic have until the end of the transfer window to finalize any incoming or outgoing business. The Republic of Ireland international, who is 23 years old, helped the Glasgow giants win the Scottish Premiership title the previous season. After a summer of uncertainty, he is back full-time and eager to start playing. Rodgers’ team is hoping to win the league again and make an impression in Europe as well. The Cup final against rival Rangers.Idah has joined Celtic in a move worth up to £9.5 million, giving their striking lineup additional competition and depth. Before their League Cup match against Hibernian at home on Sunday, Aaron Rodgers stated, “You can never win can you! You spend money, you don’t spend money, you spend excessively, you know? We have a lot of stuff. I am aware of the player in this room. All that matters to me is getting him moving in the direction that I think he can go. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall, very athletic, quick, strong, has good touch, and can score goals. He possesses all the skills.

He has huge moments in big games, as I mentioned. Of sure, he can still do better in several areas, but that is to be expected for a young athlete. I genuinely believe that he is worth every single penny of the price we paid for him. Over the course of the next 24 months, he will prove that. He will have far greater value than that.Idah left College Corinthians to join Brighton in 2017, and in 2019 he made his debut for the first team. He continued to play for the East Anglian team, appearing in 116 games overall and scoring 17 goals.

Even though the Canaries were in the running for a spot in the Championship play-offs the previous season, the forward was allowed permission to go on a temporary basis this past winter when Celtic came knocking. He contributed some significant goals and proved to be a valuable member of the Hoops’ squad.Idah is thrilled to be back and has signed a five-year contract. He will be competing with Kyogo Furuhashi for a spot on the team. “The love and support I received from everyone when I first came here was amazing, and I felt that connections with everyone was really important to me,” the man stated.

“And it goes without saying that my relationships with the players, staff, and fans aided me on the field. When I initially arrived, the guys made me feel very welcome, and I had a great conversation with Brendan and the entire crew. The fans also treated me very well, making the adjustment practically the smoothest I’ve ever experienced. I got used to things very quickly, and it was fantastic to play the games and score goals.
